- APG-API provides the traveling public and regulators with comfort and assurance that the airline has the means to meet its obligations to the passengers in the event of financial troubles within the airline.
- APG-API is available worldwide to any airline on a variable cost based on number of passengers flown or tickets sold.
- In case of financial failure of an APG-API insured airline – resulting its inability to transport passengers in accordance with its contract of carriage, APG-API will step up to meet the obligations of the airline bu:
- Fully refunding the unused tickets before departure, or
- Providing a return ticket on another airline for the unused portion of their ticket plus a maximum of 3 days hotel accommodation in the event that flights on other airlines are unavailable.
